Second Chances for Snacks: Secontaste’s Fresh Take on Upcycling
When Secontaste approached us, they had a compelling mission: turning would-be food waste into irresistible snacks. While their concept was solid, their brand wasn’t capturing the joy and innovation at the heart of what they do. The snack industry’s approach to sustainability often feels heavy-handed and preachy. We saw this as an opportunity to take a different path, creating a brand identity that celebrates the unexpected delight of giving ingredients a second life. We built a playful visual system anchored by a sticker-based layout, bold typography, and vibrant illustrations. The “S” mark reflects the concept of second chances – a subtle reminder of how Secontaste transforms overlooked ingredients into crave-worthy treats.
